Eric Crossan

Chief Executive Officer

Eric joined HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in 2014 as chief executive officer. Prior to coming to Augusta, Ga., he held the regional director of therapy operations position for HealthSouth’s Southeast region, while also serving as the director of therapy operations at HealthSouth Emerald Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in Panama City, Fla. Eric has proven experience in the healthcare industry since 1999 that include both leadership and clinical positions within inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient settings. Eric graduated with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Tuskegee University and holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Austin Peay State University.

Pamela B. Salazar, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Pamela B. Salazar received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky  College of Medicine.  She completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a clinical fellowship in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation at Albert Einstein University. Her practice is focused on inpatient and outpatient services with an emphasis on neuro-rehabilitation.  When not at work Dr. Salazar enjoys gardening, cooking and music.

 

Pamela B. Salazar M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.

Lynn Beaulieu, RN BSN MSA NEA-BC

Chief Nursing Officer

Lynn is the chief nursing officer at HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in Augusta.   She is responsible for the quality of nursing services and works closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.  Lynn was previously the director of emergency and community services at University Hospital in Augusta and has held a variety of other nursing leadership positions in her 25 year career. She holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. When not at work she enjoys her family and traveling.

Rachel Covar

Director of Marketing Operations

Rachel joined HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in 2015 as the director of marketing operations. She has nearly 10 years of healthcare marketing experience after graduating from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC.  Rachel is an active member of Grace United Methodist Church and resides in North Augusta with her family.

Aaron Hasten

Director of Therapy Operations

Aaron brings 15 years of clinical and managerial experience to HealthSouth Walton. His background spans across all domains of the healthcare continuum including acute care, acute rehab, and skilled nursing. He is an advocate for quality patient care, patient satisfaction and professional development of staff. A Missouri native, he is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loves spending time outdoors. Aaron received his master’s in speech-language pathology from the University of South Carolina in 2008. He is married and has two children.

Renee Milanes, RN BSN MBA MSM

Director of Quality/Risk Management

Renee joined HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in 2014 as the director of quality and risk management. She has over 25 years in healthcare, primarily serving in nursing leadership positions in the acute care setting. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from USC-A before pursuing master's degrees in both business administration and management. She is a member of the American Heart Association and American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Renee enjoys road biking and spending time with her husband Carlos and son Blake. 

Frank Mims

Director of Plant Operations

Frank began his career at HealthSouth Columbia, SC in 2011 as a maintenance technician and was promoted to director of plant operations for the Augusta facility in August 2015. His responsibilities include managing engineering, dietary, environmental services, security, and safety. Frank graduated from Midlands Technical College with an associate’s degree in industrial technologies.

Terrie Richardson

Human Resources Director

Terrie Richardson joined HealthSouth Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in 2015 as the director of human resources.  She has more than14 years experience in human resource management, 10 of those years in healthcare. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resource Management and a member of the Augusta Area Hospital Personnel Association.  She enjoys traveling with her family and college football.
